The Willow Tree, NE
Meet Our Team

Kimberly Rodrigues, LICSW
Founder / Manager
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in Rhode Island and Mass who is dedicated and passionate about helping others achieve success, whether in their professional pursuits or personal journeys. With an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Providence College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College, I've dedicated my professional career to fostering change, championing advocacy, and developing young leaders. Prior to founding The Willow Tree, I spent many years in direct care working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as a supervisor and Clinical Director of a large psychiatric hospital. Founding The Willow Tree seamlessly harmonized my fervor for clinical work and administrative expertise. My objective was to simplify access to clinical care, ensuring a comfortable experience for clients, while simultaneously affording clinicians the opportunity to focus on their passion without the administrative burden. As a clinician I've worked with individuals in various stages of their lives, whether navigating difficult relationships, adapting to new roles and circumstances, managing daily stressors or seeking to advance their professional career. Regardless of what brings you to treatment, I am committed to making your experience meaningful. My approach is flexible and engaging with some sarcasm and humor along the way. I want sessions to be relaxed and comfortable so you can feel safe exploring how to move forward. I especially welcome individuals who are new to treatment or unsure about the process.

Hi there! I'm Jess, a Massachusetts licensed independent clinical social worker with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Salem State University. I am passionate about empowering my clients and supporting them to achieve their goals. I take pride in fostering accountability, meeting clients where they are, and amplifying their strengths to help them become the best version of themselves. My approach is rooted in building upon your strengths while infusing directness, humor and drawing on real-world challenges and triumphs to make the process both engaging and relatable. With years of experience as an in-home family therapist, I've focused on improving the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of children, young adults, and their families. My experience gives me the ability to effectively navigate complex family dynamics and address various life challenges for individuals of all ages. I enjoy working with motivated clients ready for positive changes, open to practicing perspective-taking and committed to personal growth. In sessions, I encourage reflection through thought-provoking questions, drawing on my knowledge and experiences as a young adult, and maintaining transparency as clinically indicated. It is my goal for clients to leave sessions feeling challenged and motivated. I encourage you to contact our office. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.

As a licensed independent clinical social worker in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, I bring 25 years of experience guiding individuals through transitions and fostering personal growth. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, strengths-based practices, and cultural responsiveness. I earned my B.A. from Reed College and my Master of Social Work from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. In our work together, you can expect a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and hopeful space. I aim to infuse our sessions with curiosity, warmth, and a touch of humor, creating an environment where we can explore your experiences openly. Together, we’ll embark on a collaborative journey toward deeper self-understanding and discover new pathways to navigate your life’s challenges.

Danielle August, MA
Pre-licensed clinician
Hi, I’m Danielle, a dedicated practitioner with a Master’s-level education and extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I’m passionate about supporting individuals to overcome behavioral challenges, navigate mental health struggles, and work through difficulties in school, family dynamics, and relationships. My approach is client-centered, focusing on symptom relief, self-understanding, and strengthening relationships. I help children and families build resilience, develop coping strategies, and gain emotional insight. I also work with young adults and parents to improve distress tolerance, manage emotions, and foster personal growth. While using evidence-based therapies, I tailor interventions to each client’s needs and enjoy incorporating creative modalities such as art and play to help clients express themselves and develop problem-solving skills. Collaboration is important to me, and I work closely with other providers while connecting clients to additional resources for comprehensive care. Together, we will uncover your strengths, navigate challenges, and take meaningful steps toward lasting well-being. I invite you to take the first step by reaching out for a consultation.
